Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 06:36PM School started and I missed summer so we spent the next Saturday trying to hold on to it at the beach. Here are some pictures of me and Pantoufle playing at La Grand Motte

Monday, September 11, 2006 at 11:00AM My good friend Perrine moved to Montpellier this year, but invited us over for her 7th birthday party. It was a real typical french Sunday meal that lasted 4 hours. My mom did pretty well with her French especially with two glasses of wine. However she told me that she got so tired listening after the wine that she had to take a break. It's hard work for her, but she has improved and could hold her own!
Perrine's birthday a real long lunch

Monday, September 11, 2006 at 09:51AM One thing you notice quickly when driving in France is the roundabout circles that cross every intersection versus the four way stoplights. One just keeps on driving (or course while yielding to the people in the circle) until you find the right road to vere off to. Sometimes when not sure of our direction we would keep on circling once, twice or three times to make sure we knew which direction to go. Zoe-Pascale sitting in the back seat has taken to noticing the circles and how they are landscaped and has developed her own rating system. Following is a collection of her favorite roundabouts.

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 01:51PM I had some wonderful times with a few friends who came to visit from Marin.

Laura Metraux and her mom and Dad, Hilary and Yves came to visit for a day and we went swimming at the river.
I was lucky to spend a full day with my good friend Sophia-Elena in Provence and her mom Danute. In addition to swimming we toured the village of Gordes and had lunch and dinner together. I love you Sophia-Elena.
